5-YEAR OLD WITH SICKLE CELL DISEASE RECEIVES BIRTHDAY SURPRISE OF A LIFETIME WITH HARLEM GLOBETROTTERS

The family of Dedanim Adams reached to the Globetrotters looking for help. Star players Buckets and El Gato will answer that plea on Wednesday, as they surprise Dedanim with lunch on his 5th birthday – showing off tricks, giving him gifts, and a treating the family to a fun-filled meal and a custom Globetrotters birthday cake. The pint sized Globetrotters fan will also receive VIP tickets to see the team at Oracle Arena this Saturday at 2 p.m.

As the Ambassadors of Goodwill for nine decades, the Globetrotters are granting even more community “assists” in 2016 as part of their “Great Assist” initiative during their 90th anniversary.
