Clearwater, FL (March 9th, 2016) – Historic Sportscar Racing officials along with Jochen Mass announced today a new series which will feature the iconic race cars of the famed Porsche IROC series. The Classic RS Cup.
The Classic RS Cup will be featured at 5 of HSR’s 2016 events, debuting at the picturesque Virginia International Raceway for the WISKO GRAND PRIX, Memorial Day Weekend. May 26-29. The Classic RS Cup will then be featured at the Atlanta Fall Historics September 15-18 followed by the Savannah Speed Classic October 27-30 & the Daytona Historics November 10-13. The series Champion will be crowned at the finale at the Sebring Historics December 1-4.
